Dave's X-Files Shrine

A devotional structure typical of the late GeoCities period, this shrine to a television program exhibits all the hallmarks of its era: the starfield background, the flame divider, and a hit counter frozen forever at 4,217 visitors — each of whom, the guestbook suggests, was Dave himself. The 'News' section was last updated three years before the site's demolition, a gap the curators note is standard for the species.
