2000–2005
- Origin
- CompUSA bargain bin, later a magazine cover CD
- Medium
- MFC/C++, 16-color toolbar icons, .INI file persistence
A personal information manager from the era when productivity software believed in you. DeskPal offered a calendar, a task list, and a yellow sticky-note module, each rendered in the beveled gray optimism of Windows 2000. Forensic examination of recovered installations shows the average user created six tasks, completed two, and opened the application a final time in March 2003.
Cause of death
Outlook bundling. The sticky notes were not migrated.
